Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how sprount.com ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you visit our site or make a purchase.

What we collect, and why

Device & browsing information
When you visit our site, we automatically collect things like your browser type, IP address, time zone, and how you interact with the site (pages viewed, products searched, etc.) via cookies and similar tools. This helps the site run properly and lets us understand how people use it. This is shared with our platform provider, Shopify, and our email marketing tool, Klaviyo.

Order information
When you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, payment details, email, and phone number. We use this to process your order, arrange shipping, send confirmations, screen for fraud, and (if you've opted in) send you relevant offers. This is shared with Shopify, PayPal, and our fulfillment partner, CJ Fulfillment.

Customer support information
If you contact us for help, we collect your name, email, order number, and the details of your inquiry. This is handled through Gmail and Gorgias (our helpdesk tool) and is only stored in those systems — not shared elsewhere.

How we share your information

We share information with the service providers above so they can help us run the store. We may also share information if required by law (e.g., a subpoena) or to protect our legal rights.

Advertising

We use the following platforms to show you relevant ads and to understand how our marketing performs:

  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Messenger)
  • TikTok
  • Google (Ads & Analytics)

These platforms may use cookies or receive information about your visits and purchases to show you (and similar audiences) relevant ads. Under California's CCPA, this type of sharing is considered a "sale" of personal information, even though no money changes hands, so we're disclosing it clearly here.

Your opt-out options:

  • Facebook/Instagram/Threads/Messenger: facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
  • TikTok: ads.tiktok.com (via their Privacy Portal) or the in-app "Personalized Ads" setting
  • Google: google.com/settings/ads/anonymous
  • General opt-out (multiple networks at once): optout.aboutads.info

We do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16, and we don't offer any financial incentive in exchange for your data.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect on you. All orders and claims are reviewed by a real person. Shopify, our platform provider, uses limited automated fraud checks (like temporarily flagging IP addresses after repeated failed transactions), but these don't have a legal or significant effect on you.

Your rights

If you're in the EEA (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information, and to receive a copy of it. Contact us above to exercise these rights. Your data is initially processed in Ireland and then transferred outside Europe (including to Canada and the U.S.) for storage. See Shopify's GDPR Whitepaper for more on how this complies with GDPR: help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/privacy/GDPR

If you're in California (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. You can also designate an authorized agent to make these requests on your behalf. Contact us above to do so.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help our site function and let us understand how it's used. We use cookies for:

  • Store functionality — cart, checkout, login (via Shopify)
  • Analytics — understanding site traffic and behavior (via Shopify, Google Analytics)
  • Advertising — via Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Google Ads tracking

You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect how well the site works. For a full list of Shopify's cookies, see shopify.com/legal/cookies.

"Do Not Track" signals

Because there's no consistent standard for how sites should respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, we don't currently alter our practices based on them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal/operational reasons. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
